About us?
Well, you want to hear about who we are, and why we do what we do? We are Jeff and Mary Ann McGregor - we have 5 'children' - all grown up. We have 13 grandchildren at this time, and are very thankful for them. Most of all, we are thankful for our salvation from our sins, because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for my sins, and for all. ~~ Jeff passed in May, 2025. It is now just me. We do not have as many doggies as we once had - so, it is good to get on a waiting list, if you want a sweet Hearthside baby.
Hearthside began back in 2004. Grace was 3 years old, and we were taking care of my sweet mother - Evelyn McCullough Gregory, who had Alzheimer's. Raising puppies was something I wanted to do. Jeff gave his okay, when I asked him. :o) I will save all the details, 😁because you know I talk too much. But what we started back then, has grown. We love making a nice place to live for our dogs - they are all super friendly and very social. We love all the people that the Lord sends our way - and getting to know families all over America and some in Canada and Dominican Republic also, even down in Mexico.

12/2025 - Oh my goodness - the above was written quite a few years ago. My wonderful husband passed away in May, 2025. He was not in good health, and he was suffering ~ for his sake, I am thankful that he is with Jesus. For me, I miss him terribly. It has been a year of changes and challenges, and I do not know for sure what is in the future. All of our "kids" are grown and doing well in their own places. We now have 13 grandchildren, and they are wonderful. 💗 Jeff and I had over 45 years together. We have lived in the same place since 1983 - that means there is a lot of stuff to deal with around here. 🥴🤪🙄😯🥴 Your prayers are appreciated.
