Getting a new puppy, is very much like having a new baby in the house. You will be getting up in the night at first, and you will need to be watchful about what is on the floor for puppy to get into. Potty training is another thing. You will need to pay attention to their needs and give them proper training, so that they become the great companion that you desire them to be.
We start your puppy out with lots of love and gentleness - giving them the ability to bond quite quickly, if not immediately - with you - their new owners. We also provide each and every puppy with early puppy exercises - known as Early Neurological Stimulation Exercises. Here is a video explaining more about these exercises. We do this because we want you to have the best puppy possible, AND, we want our puppies to grow up to be the best they were meant to be.
Your new Hearthside Puppy will come with:
* Pawprint plastic bags - for all that is listed below - you will get all the paperwork in a nice folder. :o)
* 2 to 3 year health guarantee - 2 copies - you sign one, and return in the envelope that is included, we want to make it easy for you to get that back in the mail to me. :o) We will make your guarantee for 3 years, if you choose to stay on the NuVet vitamins. They are very good for puppies and adult dogs.
* AKC and/or UABR registration papers (limited).
* 3 to 4 generation pedigree
* Personalized health record ~ This shows all the shots and de- worming meds your puppy has received.
* A sample of NuVet vitamins
* All puppies will receive a microchip - and the chip will be registered for you - in your name. We get our microchips through Microchip ID Systems - a name you can trust. Kennels & Catteries • Microchip ID Systems
* Free Microchip Registration, through Microchip ID Systems. You will access to training videos on the Microchip ID Systems - Trusted Industry Leader | For the Animal World website. You will also be able to call them and talk to their excellent training counselors, if you have any training questions at all. Going to training classes is also a good thing. It is nice for you to help puppy stay social by giving him or her experiences with other people and pets.
* All puppies are checked by our vet, and will have a vet check certificate.
* Business cards - so you can easily stay in touch, and tell others about us too. :o)
* Hearthside Country / Hearthside Meadow ink pens
* 2 Hearthside Daytimer Calendars - currently out of stock on these.
* Snuggle Puppy toy for your new baby. Snuggle Puppies are a wonderful way to make the transition from our house to your house much easier. This is a 40.00 value. If you need a replacement Snuggle puppy, it is 32.00 shipping included. You get one free with your puppy.
* Pig Ear - 2 dried ears for their chewing needs - you will have to supply more :o)
* Nutri Source Small Breed Puppy food. This is the puppy food that we are feeding to our puppies - it is easily found at many pet stores. We get ours from a local feed store. It is pictured below. Also pictured below is the food that we feed our adult dogs. It is also from Nutri Source, their WhiteFish Meal and Rice formula. Our dogs love it.
* A travel crate is included in the cost of air transportation, 400.00. During covid, transportation became more challenging, and since then, we rarely use air travel. Flight schedules get changed, or cancelled. I don't like to wonder about any of our puppies being stranded somewhere. Not that we don't every use air, and we have had no issues, but several ground transport companies have gone into business. Wags on Wheels , based out of Caulfield, MO is our favorite. Crates are included with ground transport. They will typically take puppy directly to your home. Their price is usually 400.oo for anywhere in the USA, except to the upper northwest area. Puppies are well taken care of with their own food and water.
* Missouri Residents will be charged for Sales Tax. Also, if you live out of state - but want to come here to pick up your puppy - you will also have to pay sales tax, unless you have paid ahead of time. Our current rate is 6.1%. Multiply on your calculator .061 x ___. :o)
* No charges for using credit cards.
* Most Importantly - you are getting a puppy that has been well taken care of, who has had proper nutrition, and so have mom and dad. You are getting a puppy from people who care about their dogs and our puppies - and who love the Lord. We do not want to bring dishonor to His name. That means a lot. We send all paperwork and extra items by the US Mail, unless using ground transport - I can send them with puppy. I try to send out as soon as we have had vet checks done - want you to have your paper work and Snuggle Puppy. The airlines do not allow us to put the Snuggle Puppy in the crate with them, now. The package is sent Priority - make sure I have your correct address. That is also important for puppy's microchip registration.
Sometimes we are able to meet people halfway or do a delivery. Fees will depend on how far we travel to deliver or to meet you. :o)
